Artisan Market
Second & Fourth Saturdays
9am-2pm

An open-air showcase of locally-created fine art and premium hand crafted goods, the Marietta Square Artisan Market occurs on the Second and Fourth Saturday of each month April-September, and select dates October-December on Mill Street, at the Northwest corner of the Marietta Square.

Marietta Square Art Walk
First Fridays Monthly
5-9pm

Art Walk is a free self-guided walking tour that celebrates the vitality of Marietta’s diverse cultural Arts scene. Enjoy gallery openings, local artists, and performers along the sidewalks throughout the Marietta Square.

Glover Park Concert Series
Last Friday of each month
April-September

Featuring local and national acts in Glover Park on the Marietta Square, the concert series is presented in part by the Downtown Marietta Development Authority, the City of Marietta, and Marietta Parks, Recreation and Facilities.

May-Retta Daze
First Weekend in May

A two-day arts, crafts, and music festival, showcasing handmade goods including paintings, pottery, woodwork, metal, glass, fabric, soap, candles and more. In addition to a wide variety of arts & crafts, the Music Festival features various live music performances from local artists throughout the festival.

M2R TrailFest
May 11, 2024

Celebrating public art with an immersive festival, where a variety of art installations including fine art, photography, sculpture, live performance, and the return of the popular mural exhibit are debuted for the Downtown Marietta area. Most performances and installations appear in various parks and along the new M2R Trail, an urban biking and walking trail.

Art in the Park
Labor Day Weekend

Art in the Park features an artist market, children’s art alley, and fine art displayed, which will include paintings, photography, pottery, graphic arts, sculptures, jewelry, and woodworking from 175 of the country’s finest artists. Be sure to embark upon the Gallery Tour to discover more than 150 artists works, shown year-round.

Chalktoberfest
Second Weekend in October

Chalk artists from around the world create works of art on the streets of the Marietta Square. Food trucks, local entertainment, arts & crafts vendors, fun activities for children, amateur chalk artist competitions, antique cars, and a craft beer festival make this event a one-of-a-kind experience.
